What started as a small thought, the thought to make communicating easier, efficient, and ecofriendly, the idea arose to discover near-field communication. For those of you who are unsure of what near-field communication is, NFC is the interaction between two electronic devices that can be made by bringing them within 4cm of each other (Androidpit, 2020). Some interactions that can be made through NFC are mobile payments, password access, gaming, device pairing, embedded experiences, etc. Near field communication works by having one transmitting device and another to receive the signal. NFC also works as any wireless connection does, through the principle of sending information over radio waves. Even today NFC is used for payment methods such Apple Pay and Google Pay, even entertainment industries are picking up on the use of NFC in places such as arcades using an NFC wristband to play games. With the vast capabilities of NFC and the creative thinking of young entrepreneurs, the idea came to create a digital identification NFC card. Together, the Tapinit Team comes to believe that NFC is the future for the world. We believe that NFC will make the world simpler, more eco-friendly, and easier to communicate.
